Chairman NNWL Welcoming Members to the 2013 AGM

The congress was convened based on the provision of the statute and the Under- listed crucial decisions were taken Commencement of the League The Congress approved that the secretariat should put every machinery in motion to commence the league on the dates slated below: 1. Division one Thursday 20th February, 2014 2. Division Two Thursday 6th March 2014 3. Division Three Monday 5th – Sunday 11th May, 2014. INSURANCE POLICY FOR TEAMS [PLAYERS & OFFICIALS] The congress unanimously agreed that the mandatory comprehensive insurance policy for all football clubs must be adhere to strictly, but solicited that the secretariat should further renegotiate for a cheaper fee from the initial agreed amount. The congress equally accepted that the Board and the Secretariat should meet the insurance company[Standard Alliance Insurance PLC] to further negotiate and if an agreement could not be reached on price reduction clubs that could not afford the initial amount may choose to take up another insurance company of their choice but subject to verification by the secretariat and if any discrepancies were discovered such club(s) may be charged for fraud and be handed over to the law enforcement agents. INDEMNITY The congress agreed that due to lack of sponsorship in the Nation-Wide League that the old rate used during the latest season should be maintained, and directed the secretariat to inform the NRA and Match Commissioners Committee. NNWL GUIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS The amended rules and regulations governing the Nation-Wide League was adopted and becomes a law. NNWL FIXTURES The congress unanimously approved the effort of the secretariat in developing software for League Fixtures and agreed that the electronic Fixture should be maintained in the NNWL.

    I was among the participants at the just concluded AGM of the NNWL representing former Div. Three Yankari Babes of Bauchi (Now Admiral United F.C. Kano)
    I wish to sincerely express my appreciation to the Secretariat especially on the Electronic Fixtures (Software) developed. May I please request an information on how to acquire such software from the Secretariat.
