NFF thumps up NLO Coerver Coaching Course

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has praised the secretariat of the Nigeria League One on their forthcoming Coerver Coaching course slated for next month in Abuja.

This was disclosed on Tuesday to the sporting press in Abuja by Bitrus Bewarang, the technical director of the Nigeria  Football Federation , who said that it is a step in the right direction for the NLO to bring Coerver coaching course to Nigeria in order to develop more Nigerian coaches at the grassroots,  as he also frowned at the situation where many parades themselves as coaches without having the prerequisite knowledge or coaching certificate to impact knowledge to the players.

“ It is a step in the right direction for the NLO to think of organizing Coerver coaching course for Nigerian coaches.  You keep on hearing the word coachee on the lips of players in the Nationwide league, but these coaches are not properly trained.  NFF is happy with this coaching course and we congratulate the NLO for planning this course which is scheduled to hold in September,” Bewarang said.

He added that : “ The President of the NFF wants all these recyclings of players in the league to stop and one of the ways this can be achieved I by having this type of Coerver coaching course to impact knowledge to the grassroots coaches in Nigeria and these are the coaches that have access to develop more players at the grassroots of football in Nigeria.”

The Coerver coaching course is stated for 11 – 17 September at the FIFA goal project at the package b of the Abuja national stadium. Registration is on – going at the secretariat of the NLO  and the course fee is N80,000.00.
