NLO Congratulates Hon. Silas Agara On NDE DG Appointment

The management of the Nationwide League One (NLO) has hailed President Bola Tinubu on the appointment of Honourable Silas Agara as the new Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment.

Hon. Agara, who succeeds Nuhu Fikpo as the new DG of the NDE, is an entrepreneur and sports administrator who previously served as the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State.

Olushola Ogunnowo, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the nation’s third-tier division football league told the NLO Media Channel.

“Hon. Agara’s appointment as the DG of the National Directorate of Employment is a big feat to the NLO and our youths.

” Having done remarkably well at the NLO with laudable programmes that have created career pathways for many of our football talents, his approval as DG by President Tinubu didn’t come to us at the Secretariat as a surprise.

“Agara’s appointment is coming at a time when the unemployment rate figure is on the rise.

“As Mr. President anticipates an overhaul of the NDE for optimal performance, I’m confident that Hon. Agara who over the years has built a brilliant track record in both private and public spheres, will bring his wealth of experience to bear in reducing the unemployment rate among youths, to better the country’s future.”
