Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 1st Vice-President and Chairman NFF Football Committee, Barrisster Seyi Akinwunmi, will on Thursday in Abuja commission the newly renovated administrative office of the Nationwide League One (NLO).

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Nationwide League One, Shola Ogunnowo disclosed this as the body prepares to host its Annual General Meeting to herald its 2021/22 football season.

In an official correspondence issued from the secretariat of the country’s third-tier domestic league and signed by Ogunnowo reads: “I hereby wish to inform you that the 2021 NLO Annual General Meeting which will be virtual will hold as scheduled on Thursday 18th February 2021 by 11:00am, but official commissioning of the newly renovated NLO office allotted by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will be by 10:00 am.

“This will be performed by NFF 1st Vice-President and Chairman NFF Football Committee (Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi).

“In compliance with Covid-19 protocol, the Congress will only entertain 30% attendant while 70% of our members will join Virtually via Zoom.”

With the Stadium League Format been adopted by the NLO this season owing to the coronavirus pandemic, other key decisions are expected to be made in the congress with the new season kick-off date also top on the agenda.
