Management of Nationwide League One (NLO) will begin airing of the 2021/22 matches starting with the Optima Energy NLO Super 8 match-day games on television and a video viewing application known as NLO.TV App.
The NLO.TV App which has a silky smooth interface that guarantees smooth transition and can be downloaded on Google’s Play Store will be launched on Monday.
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) vice president, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi who will be representing Amaju Pinnick in the company of the Chairman of Chairmen of the NFF, Shehu Gusau will have the honour of launching the application.
Speaking with the media department of the nation’s third-tier league, Mohammed Akali, Chairman of the NLO said.
“We don’t want to disclose much about the NLO.TV App until its launch on Monday.
“Nevertheless, we all know the world is a global village via the internet and of course data is life.
“The essence of the app is to have proper documentation of our players, their profiles and videos for prospective clubs outside the shores of Nigeria to easily have access to during transfer windows.
“Fans of the NLO can easily watch league matches from any part of the world once they have downloaded the App from Google.
“The app will help the NLO and Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) monitor performances of match officials and sanction erring refs who perform below the par during matches, hence officiating in the league will be fair and this, in the long run, will develop the league.”
Meanwhile, the Remo Stadium in Ikenne will be agog as the Optima Energy NLO Super 8 will kick off on Monday.
Destiny Boys, Udala FC, Ottasolo and five other teams JNR Danburan, Doma FC, Ijebu United, Campus and JM Liberty will lock horns during the four days soccer fiesta to determine the champion of the NLO Division One.
