The Nationwide League One (NLO), the organizer of Africa’s largest grassroots domestic football league, has announced an extension for the closing date of player registration for the 2025 season.
The Media Department of the nation’s third-tier league has communicated this development.
Due to the implementation of new face recognition technology by the Secretariat, several clubs have faced challenges in completing their registration processes promptly.
As a result, the Secretariat has approved an extension for the official closing date of registration to Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The registration portal will close on this date.
Additionally, please note that the official League Kick-Off Star Match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at BWARI Stadium, Abuja, where Hyperbuzz FC will face Likeminds FC at 3 PM.
The 2025/2026 League Season will then commence nationwide on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
