The Nationwide League One (NLO), organisers of the biggest grassroot domestic football league in Africa, are in talks with the National Lottery Trust Fund.

Olushola Ogunnowo, Cheif Operating Officer (COO) during the week, paid a courtesy visit to the head office of the National Lottery Trust Fund and was received by its Executive Secretary Mr Tosin Adeyanju.

According to Ogunnowo, the meeting with Adeyanju was to seek support and how the National Lottery Trust Fund can partner with the Nationwide League One.

“The NLO is delighted to announce that it has started talking with the executives of the National Lottery Trust Fund.

“The support the NLO intends to get from the National Lottery Trust Fund, if all goes to plan will mark an exciting new chapter, as we also look forward to exploring new opportunities for the nation’s third-league.

“National Lottery Trust Fund support for the NLO which will come in form of partnership, will strengthens NLTF connection with the millions of our active football youths, and thus also aligns perfectly with our vision of creating the best career pathway platform for our grassroot players to Europe and other leagues of the world.”
