The Nationwide League One (NLO) has issued revised guidelines for player registration for clubs in Division 1 and the U-19 Youth League in preparation for the April 11 kickoff of the 2025 season.

The NLO Executive Board, through its Secretariat, mandates the commencement of registration for the upcoming season, incorporating amendments approved by Congress to address the current inflation rate.

This development signifies that preparations for the 2025 league are in full swing, with strict registration procedures and guidelines outlined for all participating clubs.

Clubs are required to pay a registration fee of ₦300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira) to FCMB BANK (NATIONWIDE LEAGUE ONE. 3267800014) to gain access to the NLO’s database for registration.

All players must be registered in the database at www.nigeriannationwideleague.com. Hard copy licenses for players will be available for collection starting February 24, 2025. Note that no club will be officially registered without the payment of the registration fees.

Youth League clubs must present players with a primary school certificate. The registration deadline for Division One clubs is set for Friday, March 31, 2025.

The ₦300,000 payment not only ensures registration but also covers pre-competition medical assessments, comprehensive insurance for players and officials, tamper-proof hologram security seals for 35 players and 2 officials, and operations at the NLO Secretariat.

Additionally, all clubs must pay a participation fee of ₦300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira), which encompasses match indemnities, venue costs, security, medical services, ball boys, and live streaming for all matches throughout the season.

Clubs must directly deposit registration fee payments into the specified NLO FCMB account. After payment, a copy of the receipt must be submitted to the NLO, clearly indicating the name of the paying club. This documentation is critical for account reconciliation and will grant clubs access to the NLO registration portal.
